No Blue Agave? No Cuervo. No seven years soaking up Volcanic minerals under seven years of Mexican sun? No Cuervo. The best Agave is hand picked, pruned, slow-baked, pressed, distilled and then aged in oak barrels. It‘s not crazy quick but that‘s how we make Especial Gold in the one place you can. So raise a glass to the town of Tequila, Jalisco State, Mexico. Video
Agave. Sun. Volcano. These same things go into Especial Silver. But we skip the oak barrel aging. Why? Well, ihat‘s what gives it a lighter, crisper taste and makes it a silver tequila. Think vodka, but with soul. Then stop thinking so much and shoot it ice cold or try it in your favourite long drink. Video

‘Esencia de Agave’ is the distilled liquid that gives Platino an extra smooth taste. We use only the heart of the Agave to make ‘Esencia’. But even from the ripest Agave you don’t get a lot. Which is why not much Platino is made. And after we’ve kept some back for ourselves, as you`ll understand there’s not too much left over. So good luck finding some. Video
Every March Francisco Hajnal, Cuervo`s Master Blender, raids (with the family‘s permission, of course) our private tequila reserves. In the Cuervo cellar he mixes that year’s unique blend. We then hand-pour, wax-seal, number and label those few bottles ‘Reserva de la Familia‘. If you go to all that trouble you shout about it. So the Mexican artist of the moment gets chosen to design a one-oft gift-box, just to make …Read More
