Lanson White Label

Lanson White Label

Faithful to the Lanson House style the White Label is fresh, zesty and refreshing but has a softer, off dry character. Its slightly sweeter style permits experimenting with the addition of fruit, for instance a fine twist of lemon rind or slice of strawberry.

Lanson White Label provides a straw yellow color with lively fine bubbles. Its aromas of white flowers and summer pear are punctuated by mineral notes.

The exquisite and extraordinary taste of Lanson champagnes are the result of a rare and particular step: the non malolactic fermentation. Champagne is to a large extent created upon the initial completion of two natural and successive fermentations: the alcoholic fermentation (through which the sugar in the grapes transforms into alcohol), and the malolactic fermentation (at which point the malic acid converts into lactic acid). Whilst this last step guarantees the wine΄s stability, it also tends to suppress the fruity aromas. Thanks to the perfect controls and management used in our winemaking, the House of Lanson avoids this second fermentation. Lanson’s taste and style offers quality, freshness and elegance which are largely due to this production method, and which reflects the original production methods of its founders.
