Château Fourcas-Dumont
Fourcas-Dumont confirms the wine’s ranking as one of the best in the appellation and is certainly one of the most successful Listracs of the vintage.
Opaque, garnet colour. Complex, expressive nose dominated by ripe red fruit aromas with beautifully integrated oak notes of toast and mocha. Big, full and soft on the palate with firm but elegant tannins. Excellent balance. Very complex. A remarkable wine that will need three or four years in bottle to drink at its best.
Final blend: cabernet sauvignon 40 % Merlot, 50% Petit Verdot 10%
Goes well with full flavoured dishes such as grilled meat and cheese.
