Patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier oversees the production of Armand de Brignac. Only eight people (including Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son Alexandre) are involved in the creation of each bottle of Armand de Brignac. The industry standard Parker’s Guide of French Wines has deemed the Cattier Chateau “Excellent” among the best producers of Champagne and listed them as one of 20 recommended houses out of the thousands in the region. The Chateau was also honored as one of the best producers of both Brut non-vintage (the true standard of a house’s quality) and Prestige cuvees. Produced in a traditional, old-world style, from grape to glass. Bouquet is complex and full-bodied, fresh and lively with light floral notes. On the palate, Armand de Brignac has a racy fruit character perfectly integrated with subtle brioche accents. Texture is deliciously creamy, with great depth and a long, silky finish.
Grapes selected exclusively from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims terroir’s Le Marne region. Only the top fraction of first wine pressing of our traditional Champenois Coquart press is used, for a high quality yield. Each Armand de Brignac cuvee includes a special dosage aged 9 months in oak casks.
