Alira Rose 2012

Alira Rose is a balanced and aromatic blend, made from 70% Cabernet Sauvingnon and 30% Feteasca Neagra. A friendly and complex wine, it brings joy with its fresh taste and delicate texture.

The Rose bright colour reveals a citrus flavour, followed by aromas of jasmine and spring cherries. Its joyful acidity emphasizes the intense taste of the blend and the long and spicy finish.

The grapes are hand-picked, then carefully selected on sorting tables and pressed. The must is fermented for 12 days at 16 C grades. To add body and floavour, the wine is aged on fined lees for 22 days and a traditional French technique called battonage is used.
