20 Barrels Merlot
Deep, dark ruby red colour, this is an elegant, expressive and vigorous wine filled with delicious notes of blueberries, cassis, regaliz, spice and touches of soft toast and caramel, along with a leather finally. Complex and full in mouth, this is a Merlot with character. It amuses with its velvety, round tannins, well-defined structure, integrated oak and gratifying length.
This is a very friendly and versatile wine. It’s ideal with pork, turkey, pheasant and chicken, which are its classic pairs. Game meats are also a great option to serve next to this wine. You can also accompany meat or tomato sauced pastas and pizzas. Finally, it goes well with toasts and homemade pâté, or semi-hard cheeses.
