Photos Photiades Breweries, a member of our Group, is leading the way as the first industry in Cyprus to use biomethane in its brewery—an achievement realized in collaboration with InoMob, the first company in Cyprus to produce 100% emission-free certified biomethane. With this innovation, the brewery is moving steadily toward its ambitious goal of using 100% renewable clean energy for beer production by 2025, as part of its environmental program “Choice” and long-standing commitment to sustainability.
The Stromboli Energy Recovery System at the brewery stands out as a flagship green initiative, achieving a 60% reduction in thermal energy during the brewing process. Additionally, our CO₂ recovery system captures and reuses 670,000 kilograms of CO₂ annually, significantly reducing emissions while enhancing production efficiency.
